Inaugural Charity Cornhole Challenge a Success!

Springtime Flower Planting and Rain Barrel Install

A lot of fun today planting spring flowers and meeting & greeting at Royer Chapel! Thank you to all who came out to help make the grounds beautiful! Always great to see familiar faces and connect with new descendants! Thanks to those who donated flowers, mulch, and water! Special thanks to Mark for donating the Mary figurines, to Larry for the artwork, and to all who donated money. Thanks also to the duo of Daves for installing the rain barrel!

New Cross behind Memorial Brick Wall

A beautiful new cross will be welcoming guests at the entrance of Royer Chapel! Another huge thank you to Jay Lenhart from Crowtown Mill Designs for donating his amazing talents and building (and installing) the cross! Go to the Fundraising page to see how you can purchase a tabletop replica! A portion of each purchase will go towards the upkeep and maintenance of Royer Chapel.

Drywall Install (and painting) Complete

July 22, 2021

Special thanks to Tyler Grace Drywall and crew for sweating it out in the hot summer heat and getting all the vandalized and damaged drywall replaced and repaired. Painting was completed on August 8th.

Royer Chapel is centrally located in the Muskingum River Watershed, the largest drainage basin wholly contained in Ohio. Learn all about the river, its watershed, its geography, and its importance on the settlement and and growth of southeast Ohio.

Damaged Siding Replaced and Cross Painted
